Vanguard Wireless is a leading Australian owned and operated wireless technology company. We specialise in designing and manufacturing wireless safety alert systems, evacuation sirens and nurse call systems for workplace emergencies. We launched our first commercial system in 2017 and have since released dozens of product features and customisations including cellular devices, a smartphone app, multi frequency RF devices, a User Portal, and now worker wearables and environmental sensors.
Utilising smart technology, our products and systems help promote safety on site, increase productivity with integrated reporting and testing options, and offer full transparency to key personnel on and off site.
Our mission is to make safety alert systems feasible for any business by delivering customer centric solutions that improve visibility and accountability.
Here's our COO and Co-Founder Inna Kazagrandi being interviewed by Safework NSW about how our business operates safely:
The installation and use of a safety alert system should be incorporated into the business’ emergency management plan, assisting to maintain a safe work site and increase productivity. Devices should be simple to use, easy to induct new users on, save time, minimise additional business expense and improve emergency outcomes.
Vanguard Wireless was launched when our CEO overheard a complaint by a WHS manager about the safety system they were using on site. They'd been told they'd have to wait three days for someone to come to site to move a device - a delay that was simply unacceptable.
After answering a few questions it became clear that Vanguard Wireless could develop a new system for the WHS manager that he could install, manage and move himself. A few weeks later the system was installed with orders for six other sites soon following.
Vanguard Wireless rapidly innovates with a continuous improvement mindset – our customers are at the centre of everything we do. It’s their frustrations with what’s been available to them in the past that are addressed by our products and services. What customers have been unable to achieve with other device manufacturers becomes a personal challenge for us!
