Vanguard Wireless Emergency Alert System Warranty

This warranty is subject to the Vanguard Wireless Emergency Alert System Hardware and Software Terms of Use. These terms of use (Terms) govern your use of our Emergency Alert system, including associated hardware and software (Emergency Alert System). Failure to comply with the Terms Of Use will void the warranty.

This warranty covers all Vanguard Wireless hardware including medical call triggers, medical call sirens, evacuation triggers, evacuation sirens, touchscreen control units and other Emergency Alert associated components (Emergency Alert Hardware).

1. Vanguard Wireless guarantees their products against any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship during the guarantee period.
2. This guarantee period is for 12 months (365 days) starting from the initial date or purchase or delivery date.
3. This guarantee covers all costs related to restoring the proven defective product so that it conforms to its original specifications, through the repair or replacement of any defective part and the necessary labour.
4. At Vanguard Wireless’ choice, an equivalent or superior replacement product may be provided instead of repairing a defective product.
5. Vanguard Wireless’ sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.
6. Vanguard Wireless has no obligation to repair or exchange any product for which a proof of purchase or delivery is not provided.
7. Based on proximity to a repair centre, if a repairs technician cannot attend the location where the product is installed/stored then the product must be adequately packaged and returned, by recorded delivery (or equivalent method of postage), to an address of Vanguard Wireless’ choosing. Shipping fees will be incurred by the Vanguard Wireless if the product is found to be defective, or at Vanguard Wireless’ discretion.
8. This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for its intended purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow Vanguard Wireless instructions, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier.
9. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, mechanical damages, overloading, damage as a result of lightning or power surges, accidents including fire, flood, etc.
10. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
